Would diodes on each of the separate flash circuits solve this? Does anyone know of another set of sequential modules that would support brake lights? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sequential turn signal hood Light kit featuring SMD LEDs exclusively designed for turn signals in the hood, using long-lasting white LED lights that produce. I must admit that electrical problems are not my strong suit. My concern with this is back feeding power to the turn signal modules when the brake lights come on because both circuits use the same bulb filament. I know I can get the brake lights to work by running a separate circuit back from the brake light switch. Many cars also have turn signals in their side mirrors. On further investigation, manufacturer says that this product was not intended to work with a bulb with shared function. From inside the car, the driver sees a dim signal. I did some research on the Net and learnt that this problem maybe related to the Flasher Relay and old bulbs signals. They only flash rapidly instead of flowing light. I removed the back-up light from each side and wired in another combo tail light/ brake light socket and bulb in its place. The sequential signals don’t properly work.
